In collaboration with our partners, we are excited to announce the launch of a new fund dedicated to identifying and implementing solutions to the most pressing challenges faced by key communities.

In partnership with others, we’re launching a bold new fund designed to tackle the toughest challenges and drive change for essential communities – Flexible Community-Led Fund (FCLF).

"We’ve endured this injustice for too long — international funding is shrinking, and key communities are the first to be pushed aside. No more. We’re growing stronger, and now we have our own FCLF — one that meets today’s challenges head-on, without needless bureaucracy."

Igor MEDVID, HPLGBT Coordinator

The global HIV response owes much of its progress to the leadership, resilience, and advocacy of key and vulnerable populations—especially people living with and affected by HIV. These individuals have formed the backbone of the response, championing human rights, generating critical evidence for effective interventions, designing and implementing impactful programs, and improving the reach and quality of health services. Through peer-to-peer (P2P) engagement, they have mobilized their communities and advanced rights-based approaches that are essential to sustainable HIV programming.

As we lay the foundation for the Flexible Community-Led Fund, we recognize the need to evolve our focus. While the HIV response remains important, it is time to move beyond a narrow emphasis on HIV/AIDS and other so-called socially dangerous diseases. We must adopt a broader, forward-thinking approach—one that addresses the complex and evolving challenges faced by key populations today. The focus should not be solely on diseases, but on the people behind them—their rights, their dignity, and their futures.

Thank you, HPLGBT, for this wonderful opportunity. The main thing now is that someone supports and replenishes this fund. [Original text: Дякую HPLGBT за таку чудову можливість, головне, щоб тепер цей фонд хтось підтримував і наповнював] .
