Who We Are
HPLGBT is a national community-led organization. Its primary areas of activity include promoting the comprehensive development of key populations—particularly those from intersectional groups—reducing discrimination and violence against them, and strengthening the influence of LGBTIQ+ communities on human rights policies. Together with its partners, HPLGBT works to unite representatives of key and other priority populations, including people living with HIV, to protect and promote human rights and fundamental freedoms in Ukraine and the Eastern Partnership (EaP) region. We strategically develop and evolve our partnerships across multiple levels, aiming to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders. By ensuring equal participation, shared responsibility, and collective impact, we work toward a common goal: fostering the prosperity of the communities we serve.
These interactions take many forms, but we uphold clear standards and remain firmly committed to them. Effective partnerships—built on the pooling of resources, expertise, and capabilities—are essential to advancing the well-being and quality of life for LGBTIQ+ individuals and other key communities.
